We are a very enthusiastic group of people who love running and enjoy the company of other runners. We think we have a great balance between all types of runners: fast and slow; old and young; male and female; experienced and newcomers. Those of us who joined quite recently have found it a very friendly atmosphere. We have plenty of activities to suit all tastes. As well as the regular weekly gatherings, our members and teams enter and organise various competitions through the year. We always have a large contingent entering the Virgin London Marathon and we make sure that all running events are combined with proper social events; we have sometimes been called a drinking club with a running problem. We have a beginners group, the Little Feet who meet on Monday’s- this is a good place for you if you are just starting out.

We were founded in 1981 and have been pounding the streets and parks of South West London ever since. Our distinctive footprint and eye catching yellow shirts can be seen from a long way off. Many of the founder members are still with us and we have members in all parts of the world. Currently we have nearly 600 paid up members of whom about 100 turn up on Thursdays.

We are a road, cross-country and marathon club with runners of every level from elite internationals to keep fit enthusiasts training with us.

We mainly train in Richmond Park and we have coaching available for every level and lots of people to train with and talk to as you run.
Plus as the pub is nearby good refreshments afterward training!

The club organises lots of different competitions, some just fun events for all the family and some more serious.

The BearCat Running Club was founded by Caitlin Limmer in September 2012 and is registered with Run England.

We are based in St Margarets/Twickenham at The Turks Head Pub and our club morning is Sunday at 8.30am.  We offer varied training running along the stunning towpaths of Kew, Teddington, Syon, Kingston and into Richmond Park and also Crane Park.

We are an incredibly friendly and confidence boosting club.  We run for the sheer love of running, welcoming and respecting each and every type of runner and individual from newest to fastest, from youngest to veteran.

You will not only improve your running with us but also your lives.  You will make cast iron friendships, achieve goals you never thought possible and learn things about yourself as a person that you will then take forward into the rest of your life.

Please come and enjoy a great run with us or get  in touch via our website:

Sheen Shufflers Running Club

www.sheenshufflers.co.uk

Sheen Shufflers was founded in 1986 by Bob Reed and Georgina Dumler to provide a running club in SW London as an alternative to other local clubs.

The club now has around 40-50 paid up members, some have been members since the club was started, others have joined in the last year. Most are active and participate in training sessions or races. A typical Monday or Wednesday club night has 15-30 runners of different running experiences, speeds and training goals. Except when the Richmond Park is closed for the culling, all runs take place within the park, on the roads during the winter and multi-terrain during the summer.

The club is not all about elite runners, competition and performance. It has members who started their running with us, or picked up again after long periods of absence, or those who simply run for fun and fitness. In a small friendly club there is a chance to know everyone and learn from other members.

Ealing Eagles Running Club is a friendly and social running club in Ealing and was founded in October 2009 by a small group of friends & fellow runners.

The club is aimed at runners of all standards, from those starting out to experienced marathon runners.

Ealing Eagles don't have a clubhouse and our training runs start at our meeting point opposite Cafe Rouge on Ealing Green.

The club is affiliated to England Athletics and is managed by a Committee with an agreed Constitution & Rules. Get in touch via our website or follow us on Facebook and twitter for more information.

Wimbledon Windmilers Running Club is London's second biggest running club and we think it's the most friendly and welcoming with over 700 members of all ages and a wide range of abilities. Whether you're an experienced runner or you've just starting out and want to meet people of the same level then you'll be in great company for training (and socialising!).

We also have a thriving triathlon section, and organise swim sessions on Mondays and Thursdays, as well as cycling on Saturdays (and in summer on Wednesday evenings). We cater for all abilities and have many first time triathletes training with us. See the 'multisport' tab above for more details.

If you would like to come and find out more then feel free to try out any of our training sessions. If you like it then you can decide to join. Or if you'd like to ask us any questions before you come along please drop us a note to [email protected] and we'll get back to you asap!
