Our Friends

"Oh we get by with a little help from our friends..."

The Richmond Running Festival is a community event, so it will be of no surprise that we could not have got off the ground without our local friends advice and experience. All of the companies and businesses below are actual people who believe in what we are trying to achieve and have been invaluable in the creation of the event. Maybe you want to get in touch with them and maybe they can help you the same way they have helped us!

This event would not have got off the ground if it were not for the time, guidance and advice from various staff at Richmond Council inc. the Mayor (former and present), Councillors to commission officers. A particular thank you to Colin Sinclair, Chris Jones and Mick Potter.

Welcome to Richmond upon Thames, London's most attractive borough, which for hundreds of years has been a favourite retreat of Royalty, the rich and the famous. Richmond lies 15 miles southwest of central London yet a fast train from London Waterloo will bring you here in 15 minutes.

The Chamber's mission is to communicate the business community's ideas and views, to help shape our future prosperity and as a consequence to be in dialogue with local/national Governments, other key organisations, thought leaders and media. Also our focus is to help member businesses and charities in our Borough, enabling our businesses and local communities to mutually prosper. Our events, workshops and seminars are held in pleasant, enjoyable and relaxing local environments.

Richmond Business and Retail Association is proud to support the first Richmond Running Festival. As an organisation we exist to support businesses in Richmond town centre and we are delighted that a number of our members are getting involved either through running in the event or taking stalls as part of the festival.
